I just listened to Tippy and Heather (their real names) describe in their very real Minnesota accents how this all went down and as soon as the audio is available from MPR I’ll post a link because it has to be heard to be appreciated

this is one of the most frustrating aspects of keeping my library's juvenile nonfiction up-to-date. books that are otherwise still useful & relevant are full of dead URLs because the author/publisher was understandably trying to make the book appeal to the Online Youth with cool multimedia resources
The book came out in 2021! In less than five years, a huge percentage of my book's citations were made irrelevant by paywalls and content migrations!!
