De verdad me gustaría saber la razón, a parte de por puro desdén hacia la profesión, de por qué se eliminan al rotulista y al diseñador de los créditos. Me parece una falta de respeto inmensa.
Si el octavo tomo de la Boticaria (Devir) tiene moiré y el primero también (os dejo comparación de ECC vs Devir), por Bolzano, el resto también 🥸📚

Oigan, que no llevo yo revisando los tomos antiguos de Nana junto con los nuevos, corrigiendo detalles, actualizando gramática y añadiendo cosas (como onos sin traducir) desde octubre del año pasado para que digáis estas cosas tan feas.
Me acabo de enterar de que Planeta ha traducido Nana con IA?????

If any translators want to get better at creative writing in English and are open to doing online classes, I can hook you up with my mentor. I'm not sure how she's doing things right now, but she got me to where I am. If anyone wants recs for books about creative writing, I'll do a thread.
After teaching translation for a few years now, my best advice to would-be translators is to get better at writing in English. The majority of issues I see in my students' work are not TL-specific problems like misunderstanding the source text, but basic English writing errors.

Kind reminder to editors and people in charge that a tiny little compliment on someone's job does A LOT for their mental health and productivity. It doesn't take time, it doesn't take much space and, most importantly, it's free! Leave a nice compliment to your local letterer/translator/proofreader.

I'm angry, horrified and sad for that poor lady just trying to get home and the brave woman helping her. I don't have anything to say about the officers who harassed and shot her other than I hope this video makes the rounds and ensures they're held to accountable. Because they should be.
