Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

Over and over. On all platforms (some of y’all are still on X).

Concentration camps with blanket immunity from prosecution seems like a bad thing.
The nation’s largest private prison company is asking the Supreme Court to give federal contractors blanket immunity from lawsuits — including human trafficking claims.

If they win, private contractors could operate with even less accountability than they do now.
The Human Trafficking Case That Could Hand Government Contractors Blanket Immunity
In a little-noticed Supreme Court case, the country’s largest private prison operator argues companies should be shielded from lawsuits when doing the government’s dirty work.

One of the most important charts in the world - from
Rush Doshi in the New York Times.

Without its allies, the United States is woefully behind China in metrics of raw economic power.

Too bad the US president does not seem to get it.

I call bullshit. They are just making shit up now and while we are at it there are legitimate questions about Tyler Robinson now as well. Starting with he didn't have a rifle when he went up the stairs to the roof and he didn't have one when he jumped off the roof.

The Skydance - Paramount merger moved forward because Paramount fired Colbert. Firing Kimmel is how Nexstar will get Trump's FCC to approve their purchase of Tegna broadcasting.

People are slamming Mamdani for “trying to do too much at the age of 33” and frankly they have a point because we have zero examples from history of a 33-year-old brown immigrant who opposed the elites & condemned greed while demanding access to food, healthcare, housing, & loving all thy neighbors.

I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving.

There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later.

They. Are. Breaking. The. Law.

Democrats voting with crypto bros and talking about "abundance" instead of actually talking about the policies people would actually vote for is, at best, negligence and at worst, sabotage.
Huge opportunity for a political party that believes government can do good things. Public opinion is finally shifting after 50 years of right wing anti-government propaganda. This isn't the time for cowering and throat clearing www.cnn.com/2025/06/01/p...

Florida: Juan Carlos Lopez-Gomez (20) is being held in the Leon County Jail, charged with illegally entering Florida as an “unauthorized alien."

Lopez-Gomez is a U.S. Citizen, born in the USA. He showed his U.S. birth certificate in court. The judge held him in jail anyway.

This is Fascism.

I've been saying for a while that it's only a matter of time before Union organizers become targets. I'm reality, if we don't become targets, we're probably not doing our jobs.
We are heartbroken and outraged to learn that Alfredo "Lelo" Juarez was violently detained by ICE while dropping his partner off at work. He is reportedly being held at a private detention facility in Tacoma, Washington. 🧵
