Kudos to the CBC for this - makes up for them allowing some of the false claims under at least one article yesterday. They seem to have removed the threads as of this morning.

Misinformation about violence by transgender people is so rife that it literally has its own Wikipedia page, which includes actual stats with actual sources.

Don’t give in to the politics of disinformation and hate. It only makes things worse.

I had to prep for a media interview on🇨🇦's new auto strategy, & thought I'd summarize where I landed. It's far better from the perspective of comprehensively supporting the transition from the supply side & the charging network, but worse because we lose the mandatory sales🧵

I saw this happening under a totally unrelated article on CBC. As i reported through their contact page, I shouldn't even have had to report them (and for the delay in the removal of [some of] them]
These fucking ghouls out here layering hate onto tragedy for their own disgusting political purposes.

The shooter's gender identity doesn't fucking matter. It only matters to sick fucks trying to exploit a mass tragedy to drive an agenda of hate that will kill more kids.

Monsters, all of them.

Yes, there are democratic debates among New Democrats - the clue is in the name!

In a vast country with many regions and interests, it’s the job of the federal NDP to offer an inspiring national vision that unites us as a party of the 99%.

That’s how we build the biggest tent and win.

Worthwhile thread; a climate / AI connection that is new to me.
An observation I've been thinking about:

Around 2020, we were told that US political & corporate elites had been gripped by "wokeness" & thus become obsessed with climate change & diversity. This wokeness was alleged to be so severe & monomaniacal that it threatened the entire culture & economy.

An owl is sitting less than 1/2 metre outside my door, after having caught a rabbit. At this point I'm assuming the owl wasn't hurt by a shovel and a pole that got knocked over. Yesterday it spent at least 5 hours in one spot with an earlier catch.
