People will tell you that there is no attempt to derail these protests. Meanwhile, actors are dressing up as the Black Panthers and attending rallies.

Impossible to describe what a raw nerve the rapid response channels are when you’re NOT on patrol. ICE sighted everywhere, all over the neighborhood. Silence and then swarming.

This is not an immigration agency, it is not a law-enforcement agency. It is a state-sponsored terror agency.

The Blinken-Biden regime giving a foretaste of how it would be under the Miller-Trump regime.
A year ago journalist Sam Husseini was violently dragged out from the State Department press room when he tried to question Antony Blinken on Israel's genocide in Gaza. Only one fellow journalist objected, Max Blumenthal, while the rest sat idle in their chairs & went on as if nothing had happened.

One can obviously have a nuanced conversation about the tactics of nonviolence and what we even understand “nonviolence” to be but I find myself genuinely wanting to ask a lot of these officials whether they think the colonial side of American Revolution should have been less confrontational
Good summary of “don’t give him what he wants” from relatively comfortable white liberals.

When Shapiro wrote that he volunteered for the IDF, the Israeli military was in year five of suppressing the First Intifada, a nearly totally peaceful mass rebellion of Palestinians in the occupied territories.

Over 1,200 Palestinian civilians were killed by the IDF between 1988 and 1994.

To be politically conscious from 2000-2009, and more specifically from 2001-2005, was to have your brain stamped with a feverish Curse of Knowing. So when you see shit like this, all you can think is “Dick Cheney insisting on links between Al Qaeda and Saddam”. You never forget the scent.

If deporting just over 600k people looks this violent imagine how violent deporting tens of millions is going to be
Over the past year, President Trump’s administration has deported about 230,000 people who were arrested inside the country and another 270,000 at the border, a New York Times analysis of federal data shows. trib.al/QRfJadJ

NEW: In this interview, Chuck Schumer describes the "five buckets" Dems think are key to their possibly winning a Senate majority in 2026: housing, "the high price of food [and] food monopolies playing a major role there," electricity, "the high cost of childcare," and health care.
Zero Chucks Left to Give
Chuck Schumer now sees a path back to the majority. Can he manage his way through it?

minnesota is an open carry state and it’s becoming increasingly clear that simply exercising that right in moderate numbers terrifies the fuck out of these cowards. possibly the single best way to get them to go away from what i’ve seen
With masked armed federal agents sitting at the corner and circling the St. Paul neighborhood for quite some time, about 50-100 neighbors came out to blow whistles. This man says this is his neighborhood and thanks everyone who came out.

The agents have all left.
