To Eli Chavez of @bosbizjournal.bsky.social: Thx for your reporting on District Hall. What the owner would like everyone to forget is that DH was permitted as a TEMPORARY building on land zoned as public park space (Block F, Seaport Common). That info was recently withheld from the Licensing Board.

NEWS: When it became clear Wash Post managing editor Matea Gold was heading to the NYT, a veteran WaPo reporter prepared a story.

The Newport Mansions say starting Saturday, The Elms will be open for the holiday season again. The mansion was closed to the public for the past several weeks as HBO filmed Season 3 of "The Gilded Age" there.
