When you call 911, they ask “police, fire, or EMS?”
Only one of those costs money: the ambulance. That’s unacceptable.
Imagine if your house was on fire and you were presented with a bill after it was put out. That would be outrageous.

Remembering when my $1,000 foot orthopedic inserts were denied by UnitedHealthCare because “podiatry prosthetics are not covered in your plan” and I could not walk without them so I appealed and they denied so I had to pay out of pocket (I was making $35,000/year in New York City).

The only people I've seen so far who have any sympathy for that CEO are the politicians who are paid by these ghouls. Looking at you Amy Kobluchar, Tim Walz, etc.
