Went to the Pirates exhibition at the National Maritime Museum. Very interesting, but especially enjoyed seeing the Secret of Monkey Island on display. I asked the staff, they said they had Disk 22 in storage too.

Always seems a bit redundant saying this about such an iconic movie like 2001, but this was truly tremendous. Every part slots together perfectly. Nearly sixty years old yet the special effects look better than almost anything comparable from today.

This is the sort of wildly impractical feature that, if it was standard spec, would get used in some genius way in like three games and then never again.

In Super Mario Galaxy, the stars on the letters of the logo spell "u r mr gay", while for the movie it says "he mr gay". This is because you are watching Mario, not playing him.

Fantasian is fun. Monster design is cool, combat is fairly simple but I enjoy the aiming mechanic and the Dimengeon is a great way to make random encounters more rewarding and organic.
