Unless there were things said that we don't know about, it won't be sedition. Advocacy to break up the country is within our rights (and is something to be proud of, tbh)

Until now, I've kept my silence when it comes to Canadians I know travelling to the US, but no longer. If it isn't for business, family (kids, grandkids, etc.), or formal education, I consider it traitorous to travel to the US for pleasure or politics of the Conservative, separatist, or UCP kind.
