From finance to neuroscience to aquariums
I think that it's pretty strongly true that Canadians are underinvesting when it comes to the boycotting and significantly underinvesting when it comes to pivoting their spending towards building social resilience against these exogenous attacks.

I wish more people understood compounding benefits

Oxford Blueberries might be my cleanest and most obvious way of supporting the Canadian economy outside of donating to our research charities.

There must be a name for the emotion we feel when Keyser Söze straightens Verbal's feet while walking. Or when Vader tears through the soldiers at the end of Rogue One

If you're looking for a Canadian Content groundhog day movie, I recommend ARQ

It's a type of movie that I quite love. Low budget, so they have to do a good job elsewhere.

When considering two products, it's passingly easy to check where the headquarters and main employment centers are. Then punish (R) districts if possible.

How can Trump show damages on the IRS leaking his tax records? He stated over and over and over that he *wished* he could release them.

Since ICE is becoming the increasingly loyal "Security Branch", there might be a time when it's members actually need to be targeted rather than harassed.

You definitely don't want to pull the trigger on that too soon, but also not way too late

Help Canada defend Greenland with comedy
(more than a few Greenlands express their rejection of Trump, so views (and likes) help this episode in the algorithm.

Six minutes. It's funny. Boost the signal.

Let's do this. Let's deliberately do some cross-border kindness. Worst case, we help some people who actually need help.

I need Americans to see this, cuz I'm participating

Normally a government will release information prematurely in order to deescalate. Normally.

If you aren't deescalated after watching the ICE agent's video, rewatch Andor season 2. You might be the useful idiot

Here's my advice

Impeach him on emoluments. Be strict. Nail him for China granting his trademark during his first term. Send the message that billionaires are *not* easier to legally bribe with more fingers in more pies, but harder

Everyone wins, long-term. Set the precedent. Start the healing

I think the world would be a better place if we all just agreed that the "whoops, I forgot to include the attachment, here it is!" email was cute and endearing and not at all embarrassing or a sign of incompetence.

Nearly none of my politically loud social media friends donated (significantly*) to the provincial political party in the first three quarters of this year. Well, they're loud, so they know something I don't know. I shan't donate either.

* 'significant' means a lot less when the writeoff is so high

There should be a grand bargain made once it's clear that Trump is a lame duck. Impeach him for emoluments; he received a trademark from China early in his first presidency

What's the grand bargain? A giant anti-corruption precedent. Billionaires should have a *harder* time avoiding emoluments!

The city water started becoming quite unsafe for aquariums during spring run-off a couple of years ago ... but this year the 'early winter' unsafeness is through the roof.

So weird.

Holy fuck I hate them so much.

Next time you hear Trump use the word 'billions' as if it's a big number (it is! hence his emphasis!) realize that HE has *actually* grifted billions of dollars.

Like, many have grifted millions. Billions is thousands of millions.
