I’m so tired of hearing Rubio & other rightwingers now claiming that if you’re on a green card you’re a ‘guest’ in this country. BS. You’re a lawful permanent resident. The clue is in the name. If someone is a permanent resident in your home, are they the same as the guests who come and go? Come on.

Was Saša sagt... Und ich kann mich an eine alleinstehende Dame erinnern, die 1992 aus Ostbosnien vertrieben wurde und vergeblich versucht hat, in Deutschland zu bleiben, wo ihr Bruder und dessen Kinder, ihre einzige Familie, lebten. Sie musste nach Bosnien zurückkehren und war damals todunglücklich.
Das war damals nach dem Bosnienkrieg genau gleich: Man hat nicht eine Sekunde gezögert nach dem letzten Schuss, und auch egal wie die individuelle Lage vor Ort für die Menschen war, um uns abzuschieben. Das ist also nicht eine neue Menschenverachtung, beeinflusst von Rechts, Deutschland IST so.
