Haven't uploaded a bake in a while, here's what I made for Thanksgiving!

Spiced Pumpkin Olive Oil Cake w/ Browned Butter Cream Cheese Frosting + homemade caramel sauce. Made it last weekend to test on friends and it was delicious, but made some tweaks this time, can't wait to see how it turned out.

I keep forgetting to take pics of my baking journey, but I never forget a pic of a beautiful butter basted ribeye 😋 Accompanied by some rosemary, thyme, and garlic infused butter roasted veggies and potatoes and a sourdough roll.

As always with me, plating could use work, but it was delicious.

Blueberry lemon scones with a lemon glaze.

I am much happier with these than the biscuits. Texture is all there and taste pretty much is. Just needed to go a little heavier with the lemon and I would have no complaints about this one.

As a southerner learning to bake, it felt mandatory for the first thing I attempted to be buttermilk biscuits.

These look a little rough, but for my first ever attempt I'm not mad at them at all. Definitely taking some notes from the process to hopefully be better the next time.

After years of wanting to, I've finally committed to learning how to bake (enough to dabble at least, for now). I'll probably just use this space to document my journey since I'm not doing anything else here lmao.

We'll see if I can stick with it or if ADHD triumphs over desire once again.

Kinda forgot I made this account for a while, but finally got so fed up with Twitter that I deleted it from my phone so I'll stop doomscrolling it by habit.

Guess now that this has opened up to the public I'll see if this fills my doomscrolling needs without constantly upsetting me 🤞

Found a cool little Chrome/Firefox plugin someone made that allows you to search your Twitter Followers/Following for registered Bluesky accounts and follow from within Twitter, just gonna share that link. Not perfect because it just combs for username/display name, but it found quite a few for me.

Alright with the news that Elon is gonna start charging all users just to use the app I'll finally start the transition from that hellsite to here. Don't care if it's just a dollar a year I wouldn't pay a penny for lifetime access for that dumpster fire of a website.
