Haven't uploaded a bake in a while, here's what I made for Thanksgiving!

Spiced Pumpkin Olive Oil Cake w/ Browned Butter Cream Cheese Frosting + homemade caramel sauce. Made it last weekend to test on friends and it was delicious, but made some tweaks this time, can't wait to see how it turned out.

I know this person's reply is definitely not about skateboarding, but the placement made me laugh

Current Game/Next Game/Best Game: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, my god I love this game so much and I just don't wanna stop playing it so probably gonna do a NG+ run when I'm done lol
Most Anticipated: Ghost of Yotei

I keep forgetting to take pics of my baking journey, but I never forget a pic of a beautiful butter basted ribeye 😋 Accompanied by some rosemary, thyme, and garlic infused butter roasted veggies and potatoes and a sourdough roll.

As always with me, plating could use work, but it was delicious.

Blueberry lemon scones with a lemon glaze.

I am much happier with these than the biscuits. Texture is all there and taste pretty much is. Just needed to go a little heavier with the lemon and I would have no complaints about this one.

Tasted one plain, they were pretty good! Not as fluffy as I'd like so probably worked the dough too much, but they were wife approved.

Now we run them through the gamut of a few of my favorite biscuit toppings, scrambled eggs, jam, and honey. Dinner is served 😋

As a southerner learning to bake, it felt mandatory for the first thing I attempted to be buttermilk biscuits.

These look a little rough, but for my first ever attempt I'm not mad at them at all. Definitely taking some notes from the process to hopefully be better the next time.
