I freaking love superheroes man
It's easy to be cynical about the genre as it's a big money machine propelled by big corporations and it can be low brow entertainment but I think it's important that we have stories about striving to be the best we can be and helping one another, especially nowadays

This rules for a lot of reasons, but especially because it dispels the myths that A.) old games were never political and B.) games like this are just stories, they aren't "about" anything. Should serve as a reminder to anyone writing about games why we should be close reading 'em.

I’m about halfway through Bayonetta Origins and I’m absolutely enamored with this game. The way you control two characters to solve puzzles/battles, the different elemental Cheshire powers, how completely adorable Cereza is. I really hope more people check it out. 🥺💕
