Left vs Right:

The left would provide Medicaid to a 1M people who need it, even if that meant there were 1K fraudsters cheating the system.

The right would take away Medicaid from 1K fraudsters cheating the system, even if that meant taking it away from 1M people who need it.

I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.

If true, I am at a total loss of words, what an absolute disgrace

Trump in Iowa says Iran called him after the B-2 strike to ask him if it could fire missiles at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. “Go ahead,” Trump says he told Iran. All 14 Iranian missiles successfully intercepted by U.S. Patriot PAC-3s.

I truly hope this puts a definitive end to the perpetual insistence by Democrats that they can compromise with Republicans. You can't. These people are extreme, depraved, and shameless. They just stripped healthcare from 17 million people to give themselves a tax cut.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Important to know that these cuts kick in right after the 2026 midterms. That’s how you know they know it’s bad.

Whoa! Alligator Alcatraz is going to be complete by Tuesday and open for operation on Wednesday.

Am I the only one wondering how Ron DeSantis got this together so fast?

Floridians, make sure you remember this the next time a hurricane hits and you can’t get disaster relief in your state.

Other than a bomb being dropped from an aircraft, there’s absolutely nothing, zero, zilch, that compares the Iran strike with the nuclear bombing of Japan.

You might find this picture morbid or eerie- odd in its own way, with unsettling details. Why is there a body on a door? Why is there no casket? And why is this happening in a lawn? It's a short story - one that makes the distant, abstract feeling of war suddenly tangible:

ICE just arrested Brad Lander, the NYC Comptroller and one of the leading candidates for Mayor, without grounds.

He was conducting routine immigration court work, escorting individuals from hearings.

He asked ICE for their warrant - well within his legal rights.

This is political intimidation.
Whoa! NYC mayoral candidate and current city Comptroller Brad Lander seemingly arrested at the NYC immigration court while attending to escort someone attending their hearing.
Lander just got detained by federal agents as he tried to escort a man out of the courtroom. Lander was taken in an elevator with masked agents, along with one member of his NYPD security detail.

Not an original point but worth saying again - there is not a single element in this picture that identifies any of these folks as law enforcement agents. No badges, no uniforms, no vests. Out of context it just looks like a bunch of random guys are kidnapping a mayoral candidate.

I think one of the reasons you hear so much visceral anger coming from Dems about politics these days is bc for years now we’ve been expected to respond with dignity and respect (which we do) when political violence touches the GOP. But when it touches us - we get the Mike Lee’s of the world.
Because of my work and writing, I've talked to countless elected officials and their staffers about political violence over the past several years. Mostly Dem, though not all. The collective trauma for these folks is immeasurable and justified. With no recourse. www.semafor.com/article/06/1...
