@pepperraccoon.com has anybody pointed out that your "Flying Kea" could be re-marketed as "Dope Dapping Bird" or similar?

Was looking through Christmas specials and that's what jumped to mind on first glance.

I love that the #VisualStudio 2022 updater can be used to install #vs2026 instead of needing to download a standalone installer; Much easier than waiting for Internal IT to vet & add to Company Portal.

Not that I would ever install unapproved software on work device mind you.

Several years ago, my repost of this image on former bird-site gathered more attention than I expected.

I never do sales, but I'm doing a big Christmas sale this year! Shop #kikorangi local, support an artist, and give unique gifts that always hit with their recipient!

Get in and snag bundle deals, marked down tees, and restocked items that were previously sold out: pepperraccoon.com/collections/...

We had to replace our hot water cylinder earlier in the year.

Ever since I've missed the fact we no longer have a "hot water cupboard" where you could put damp stuff and the inefficiently insulated cylinder would dry it out over night.

What do people do these days?

Ahhhhhhh.

Sitting on the deck relaxing and a month landed on my neck and immediately crawled down under my shirt.
I don't know how to remove without hurting it.

The default entitlement of sick leave is 10 days per year, so we're actually under achieving.

Unlike Annual Leave, unused wellbeing leave doesn't incur any debt against companies, which is why actually using it is "bad"

It's a toss up between the Kororā (Little Blue Penguin) and the Ruru (Morepork/New Zealand owl)

The wonderful @pepperraccoon.com has enamel pins for both.

Wife is going to get an adult ADHD assessment next week and asked me to rate her and also do a self assessment prior to meeting.

I won't say what score I gave her was (but yup) and I scored 3 (more likely 2) out of 25.

So let’s get this straight. Lifeline is unfunded by govt & needs $2 million. But govt just hands $24 million to Gumboot Friday and is happy to give millions to the bloody Michelin Guide for tourism puffery of dubious value. Everything this govt does is run on vibes.

Lifeline to cut operations unless funding shortfall is plugged
Lifeline Aotearoa says it has had to stop services between midnight and 7am since March, and without sustainable funding, it cannot continue a full 24/7 service.
