This is a list of all the female kākāpō in the world. They are spread across three islands; Whenua Hou, Pukenui, and Te Kakahu.

The fact they are all named and listed on one whiteboard shows how endangered this species is.
It's started! The 2026 #kakapo breeding season is under way, with the first nest found on Whenua Hou today. Pearl is on two eggs. #conservation #parrots #birds

Dell seems to be the first to realise we don't actually care about AI PCs

'Ramayah said people should have "a level of personal diligence" with their Manage My Health accounts.'

How do they keep getting worse at this?!

The hacker didn't individually compromise thousands of user accounts. They maybe got one.

If one account gives you all that, the problem isn't users!
Ex-users' data may have been stolen in Manage My Health breach
People whose GPs no longer use Manage My Health could still have had their data stolen.

Totally normal behaviour to give billions to the people causing the very climate change that’s going to kill us.
Several parts of Australia are likely to face the worst heatwaves since the 2019/2020 bushfires.

Volunteers and underpaid frontline workers will step up to help communities.

Meanwhile, in just one year, the Australian government gave $14.9 billion in subsidies to fossil fuel producers and users.

With summer here our lawns need mowing every week.
I do the front ones each weekend but the rear every other week so the clover, daisies, and others get a chance to flower.

Back lawn is very busy with bees at dusk these days.
