Every month when I pay my bills, I take a moment to be thankful that I have the money to do so because growing up, I went without heat or ate PB sandwiches for every meal until payday. People like Gov Walz understand that.
Below-zero days like today remind us that nothing is more important than a home that is safe, stable, and affordable.
We’ve put historic funding into affordable housing, and I was proud to stand with advocates in the Capitol today who fight to make that a reality for all.
