I paid off 12k in credit card debt today. Debt that I racked up while working full time since graduating college. Debt that, had I not been illegally fired from MCT and paid out a settlement, I would have never been able to pay off with the wage I was making there. 💪

I also disagree, masculinity is a huge variable that sometimes includes needing power over women. But it's not JUST that. I think that's its dark side that people who need to over perform for it fall into?
I know some masc lesbians who would strongly disagree. My butch spouse constantly cares for me in a *very* masculine way, including cooking and cleaning, and also like, I don’t think anybody is under any false illusions of who’s in charge of the household (no offense)
