A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter.

PTSD from prior incident with a car? That supports the defense because the officer fired because he apparently had a false belief influenced by prior acts and had no current ability to properly evaluate the need for deadly force. He should never have been on this job.

Something to consider: We know what happened in Minneapolis today because dozens of people filmed it. If we let this shooting make us afraid to document, it will paradoxically makes us easier to kill and more likely to be murdered.
