Hope he has as good a career at City as Adebayor did.

New for @josimarfootball.bsky.social. And depressing. Correspondence between the Premier League and the British government suggests that elite English football clubs will be allowed to pursue commercial relationships with illegal betting operators in the future.

A massive loss for Arsenal - the end of an era.

When you consider everything he's had to contend with in the last 8 years - departures at every level of the club, a pandemic, Brexit-rule changes - he's brought incredible stability to the Academy.

Big f*cking shoes to fill. Proper send-off needed.

Not athletes, not machines, but people. Per Mertesacker was the perfect person to lead the development of hundreds of teenagers. Arsenal have been lucky to have him and whoever replaces him needs to continue leading the academy with the same priorities in mind.

Neville’s reaction to the Martinelli incident is a classic case of being immersed in the online rage machine for too long and losing sight of how normal people actually think and communicate. He’s fully lost to the clickbait, troll-culture of social media.

Bukayo Saka is ranked 10th for goals scored in the Premier League for Arsenal.

He's 5th for Goal assists.

And 16th for appearances.

Goals 57, Henry leads with 175
Assists 48, Bergkamp has 94
Games 214, Parlour has 333

He should break the last one if he stays fit, can he get close to the others?
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Bukayo Saka agrees new + improved 5yr contract at Arsenal. 24yo England int’l currently at #AFC until June 2027; fresh terms to summer 2031 in process of being finalised. Deal to recognise winger’s standing among Europe’s best 🚨

This is very true, and a good sign that any time we draw it's considered a bad result.

Liverpool didn't have a shot on target last night, and they're getting praised. Yes, they had injuries, but we were riddled with them when we went to Anfield (when they still had a 100% record) and got ridiculed.
Arsenal have lost more draws (at least to the media) than any other team in PL history.

What Martinelli did was stupid, potentially harmful and unacceptable. Also unacceptable is the fact that a pundit, Gary Neville, who did not have the (flimsy) excuse of being caught in the action, thought that Liverpool players should have given him a beating and said so live on TV.

City leaving Semenyo at Bournemouth for this weekend, Arsenal winning anyway and then City dropping points without him was pretty much the ideal scenario.

Always funny when a team tries to play games with their transfer moves and it backfires.

Taking significant restraint not to point out to Liverpool fans that they "only have three injuries" while they complain about missing Isak and Ekitike.

Looks like they all suddenly understand the concept of cluster injuries after deliberately failing to understand it for the last 12 months.
