Trump administration shares new moves to dismantle more of the Education Department
Some of the responsibilities the administration aims to move were explicitly assigned to the U.S. Education Department by Congress, raising questions about the legality of these changes.

Any teachers out there? Ramping this back up again and figured I would advertise.

I am on the National Weather Service National School Outreach Team. We are composed of various NWS meteorologists across the country that give school talks about the weather. We can use just about any online platform.

From this minister's op-ed: "People wanting to experience God are more likely to meet the Divine trying to shut down the Broadview, Illinois, ICE facility than we ever were in church...God does not live in our houses of worship, but...with those who are bearing the brunt of cruelty in this moment."

Shutting down the government is a big deal. People have been hurt in big ways as a result of the decision. To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

ICE agents in Chicago violently detain a non verbal autistic man for being “non compliant”

He couldn’t “comply” because of his disability…they don’t care

This is not the first time they’ve gone after a disabled person

They target the most vulnerable because it’s an easy way to meet their quota

JD's family has spent $35M on vacations. Kash Patel used a $60M FBI jet to go on a date. Trump spent $98M to golf for 24% of the days of this term. All our tax dollars. But you think single moms getting $6 a day for SNAP is the problem?
