Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.

I'm a Dodger fan and can't help but be thrilled that they won. But those Blue Jays were something else and deserve all the kudos. As one wag said on BSky when they beat the Yankees "Any team that beats the Yankees is America's team.If that's the Toronto Blue Jays, so be it. I don't make the rules."

"Political violence" is a term that exists to suggest a moral distinction between "violence against politicians" and "violence by politicians" - so that one can be condemned while the other can be normalized. Obviously, no such distinction exists in reality: violence is violence.

I tried to Google when Nick Castellanos last had a hit, and the “AI” result they cram in at the top told me his last hit was August 11, 2025 against the Padres. The Phillies played the Reds on August 11, and Castellanos did not have a hit.
