going back to the protection aspect- we see vi as the protector, but who does it for her? caitlyn is one of the only people to truly fight FOR vi- even after they split, when Caitlyn comes to her senses she fights for vi and for her family, when she doesn’t have to.
you can see how enamored vi is here, too. the girl she fell in love with, the caitlyn she grew to love, now with flaws and all, is here in front of her- in truth she never left. the honesty, the selflessness, the care and protection- all of these traits about Caitlyn are so present

If you enjoyed the classic GameBoy Zelda games, I recommend playing Saga of the Moon Priestess. It’s relatively short, but it’s a good indie game and is currently on sale for $3 on PSN. I played it on Xbox when it launched and it was an easy 1000g, so it’s an easy platinum for those interested.
