I'm an NHS Paediatrics doctor, father, husband, Quins fan, Nadal fan and lover of Fantasy, Disney and Nintendo.
To show you all my dedication, here's pictures from my soaking wet, windy hill run in Dublin today, where it is grim.

Thank you all for the donations, we will make a difference together!

Still a long way to go, but progress coming along
Running 10k in training next week and I'm going to book a 10k race for the new year

60km run in October and aiming for 70km in November

I'm raising money to help increase the number of people who can get life-changing help like we did, and to spread awareness about how common and unseen baby loss is. Please, spread the word!

We were lucky enough via our employers to access Petals, a baby loss grief counselling service, who have been immensely helpful and helped us heal so much. But due to funding and availability, many many parents won't be able to access services like Petals.

Especially after the first, Isaac, in December, but also Lucas in July, the first few weeks were particularly difficult emotionally with so much grief to process whilst continuing with our lives.

Sadly, as many of you know, my wife and I have lost two babies/pregnancies this year, which has been really tough and in many respects we are still (and will continue to be) recovering and relearning from.

Next March, I'm running the Cambridge half marathon, my first in years, for Petals, the baby loss charity. I've committed to raising £500 for them after they've helped us so much in our own losses, and would be hugely grateful if anyone was able to spare some money to donate.

Both are fighters in the physical and figurative sense
Both stubborn, rash but capable of wise planning, both driven by justice and duty, both intelligent, both obsessed with a villain

And both criticised within the narrative for their falling under malign influence

Then the actual arcs and personalities

Both are aristocratic, princesses of a sort who fight for what they believe in, who have a family-loss related revenge arc that leads them to be manipulated and fall into a degree of darkness and fight their way out of it

Whatever the flaws of their shows, both get a lot of dislike that is quasi-misogynistic, and their lack of femininity at certain points (whilst remaining largely feminine coded visually) is specifically criticised in acts and in looks
