Just another cat on the internet. I chew wires, fix things, and spend way too much time thinking about computers, airplanes, old cars, and safety. No, I’m not from Iceland, I just love the name.

After loads and loads of “mainstream”-media profiles of Trump voters, but mainstream-media profiles like this of humans that ICE is targeting remain very rare.

Independent media is doing better and I’d rather share that, but it is good that human stories are being shared to a wider audience.

Perhaps now American voters can see Trump literally wants to kill them that a calculated death toll from this might get through.
Moderna have announced that they won't run new phase three trials now with massive impacts for new vaccine development- why- its because of RFK Jr and his anti-vaccine campaigns and cancelling mRNA vaccine research which affect the sales the company can then make 🧪🧵 #PublicHealth

I thought about this a lot when we were all pushing to get kilmar abrego garcia released. I'm glad we got him back but literally NO ONE should be sent to CECOT. They should have ALL been brought back.

Never accept an inch. Never accept their framing. Bring everyone back and abolish DHS.
The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

The entire administration's position 48 hours ago was that ICE had the right to commit extrajudicial murder and they had the right to lie about it.

Hegseth explicitly said ICE was more important than the entire state of Minnesota.

Throwing their shock troops under the bus is a sign of weakness.

Graham Linehan proves the point that trans liberationists have been saying from the start:

If you'll permit dehumanising and stripping the rights of trans people, you will dehumanise and strip the rights of anyone on a long enough timeline.
This is exactly the same playbook Graham Linehan uses against trans people, where defending trans rights is cast as defending "rape" and "paedophilia." He uses "rape" and "paedophilia" as punchlines, and, therefore, all of his hate speech and advocation for violence against his enemies is justified.

I have a weird imagination. The subject of Saint Bernards was brought up, so my had came up with a sign that features a neon orange outline figure of a Saint Bernard with its barrel and the phrase ‘service dog soon’

just gonna throw out a quick reminder that in America police kill a yearly average of 3 civilians per day, routinely in situations very similar to these ICE killings, and decades of explicit support for police impunity by US politicians is why ICE feels theyre able to get away with this right now
Our government is murdering the citizens of this country. They are doing it without any checks on their violence
January 25, 2026 at 12:26 AM
Exactly. This isn’t just a forum troll doctoring a photo for the lols, however bad that would be. This is a fascist government’s propaganda ministry lying to us in an attempt to make us all its mental prisoners.

The US government has got to go.

Our initial analysis is up.

The video footage appears to show that the gun was taken away from the man before he was shot.

He was UNARMED before any of the shots were fired.
Federal law enforcement agents shot and killed a man in Minneapolis on Jan. 24 according to local police officials. DHS told Fox News that the man was “armed with a gun”. A video of the shooting appears to show that a gun was taken from the man before the first shot was fired. x.com/BillMelugin_...

This is who ICE murdered. A VA nurse who dedicated his life to helping critically ill veterans.
Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

The speed at which they got this picture to a fox news reporter means this was entirely about creating the narrative they want. The truth no longer matters, just being able to set the narrative.

This post sums up the strategy.

It's not incompetence: Patel and Bongino know truth is irrelevant, and all that matters is what people believe to be true. Research shows that whatever people hear FIRST is what they will believe going forward, regardless if they hear corrected information later. They shape reality deliberately.
not surprising and yet still jarring to read ex-FBI agents describing how Kash Patel and Bongino reacted to Charlie Kirk's murder while running the agency. truly the content creator administration/podcast govt www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

At the very least, no-one working for ICE now should ever (a) be armed, even as a private citizen, or (b) be in a position of power over others. They’ve proven their unfitness.

Lock them into Arkham, they are dangerous sociopaths
I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity
