Reminder that years ago it was found out that the FBI straight up made up a whole bunch of fake forensic sciences, plural. People have gone to jail and been executed due to literally pseudoscience.

Astonishing that doing research now often requires "specialised staff" to write the proposals and gigantic overhead in management, lawyers, contracting. Perhaps think a little bit further for once, Politico. This money is a solid basis for Ukraine for 2 years (a long time in a war). And the frozen money remains frozen, it is not as if Russia gets it back. Also a EU mechanism is now developed to vote by majority instead of unanimity.

On the training set for AI…
I know of about 3,000 papers (at the very least) that have the incorrect conclusion due to using a reagent(s) that is not as specific as claimed. After multiple corrective efforts, I‘ve concluded that the record is very difficult to fix and scientific literature has huge volumes of errors.
