Alberta led the country in renewable growth — by A LOT — for years. Now investment has collapsed in the wake of provincial government actions. 2025 saw no new wind projects and very little solar. Corporate agreements, which funded 60% of projects, are down 99%. #ableg

The Alberta government destroyed freedom of information in the province when it rewrote legislation, so I'm picking up new skills they won't like 😈 I really don't like taking no for an answer.

That’s what @dfriedman.bsky.social discovered on a Goodreads page tied to the email address of a top Pentagon official and mentor to Pete Hegseth.

I asked the Pentagon about Pete Hegseth's mentor. Then the threats started.

Giving Alberta an exemption to the Clean Electricity Standard means the policy is DOA.

There’s no way SK isn’t asking for the same thing, as they restart coal plants.

One Canadian economy? Nope. Likely scenario is no electricity regs at all, meaning we’re back to Harper-era policy.
