That's a sweeping assumption. Rural Albertans aren't a monolith and denigrating them achieves nothing but shutting them out of conversations.

I won't weigh in on what an opposition should or shouldn't do, but the deputy leader of the NDP was at the meeting with landowners discussed in the article. All to say, I think a lot more people are starting to pay attention to some of these issues.

Beyond the usual government chicanry around providing information in terrible formats etc, the judge makes it very clear he was working under strict terms of reference which limited his investigation and his access was limited. #ableg.

And, oh boy, can I sympathize. It sounds like Raymond Wyant got a taste of what it's like to be a journalist.

When over two and a quarter million documents were received for this investigation, they were sent in multiple intervals and were not indexed or organized in any form. #ableg
