spending the day with artist Gustave Courtois (1852-1923), whose paintings are a record of the hot men he fell in love with - including his great muse, bodybuilder Maurice Deriaz.

When they were exhibited Courtois was met with a wave of revulsion from critics at his open, undisguised desire.

Last night, Toronto Police were blitzing working delivery cyclists and ticketing them for parking on the road AND on the sidewalk (in front of food pick up spots on Yonge). 2 hours later one of the ticketed cyclists captured a pic of officers on a Timmies run while parked in a bike lane. No tickets.

Private prisons are coming, and inmates can be rented out to work even cheaper than temporary foreign workers.

THREAD. There are alarming developments in Canada recently. Some politicians are apparently doing their best impression of Trump's Executive Orders on cash bail--they want to determine who is in a cage and who is free with their family based on who pays up-front cash.

One thing I've not seen mentioned in redistricting discourse is the fact that California has built so little housing over the last two decades, we're on track to lose ~ 4 seats in the house anyway.

People really don't appreciate how deeply NIMBYs have fucked the United States.
