As always, accuracy is critical. What I said was:
"In some respects this government under Keir Starmer looks more Tory than the Tories".
I had just spelt out exactly which respects I meant: its anti-protest laws and the Planning and Infrastructure Bill.
George Monbiot: "This government is more Tory than the Tories."

Bernard Jenkin: "This is the most left-wing government we have ever seen."

Labour MP: 🤷🏽‍♂️

After more than one year of hard time, recovering with burn out but still be up to speed and commuting the Eurostar belt london/paris/bxl, I am finally going on hols for two weeks. With my sister, the one who is very luxury oriented while I am frugal in my travels, hope it won’t be more stress 😣

Labour is getting desperate. It is breaking up.

Replacing Starmer/McSweeney with Streeting or Reeves, or Philippson or any other Starmer-soundalike will not work.

Replacing Labour with the Green Party will.

Wow. Just wow. We can safely say that leaving Europe is very bad for your economic health.

So what are UKG doing about it, and why is the answer not dropping the May-Johnson redlines?
Headline from a serious and long working paper on the economic impact of Brexit. Possible that this has been feeding into OBR and HMT discussions?

The BBC lost its way when it started to report people’s opinions, not facts. Because opinions matter more than reality, liars get the same coverage as experts explaining complex stuff. “What do you think?” became the most important question, not “what are the facts?”
