One year ago today my wife and I set off in a modified Toyota Sienna for what would be a six and a half month road trip. It was good fun and I'll try to post some of the highlights here on a one year delay.

1. Yesterday I was fortunate enough to visit the Alfa Romeo museum in Milan. What a gorgeous museum of design.

@reckless.bsky.social I wouldn't call myself a "Hot Rod Van Dad" but I have ordered a set of outside the usual tires for a Sienna. When I did so, actual humans from Tire Rack called me, twice, to make sure I really wanted them. Happy to answer any questions, but I think that's the pertinent bit.
