One year ago today my wife and I set off in a modified Toyota Sienna for what would be a six and a half month road trip. It was good fun and I'll try to post some of the highlights here on a one year delay.

I was on the highway the other day and some guy in the driver's seat of a Tesla was flossing his teeth. When he noticed us noticing him, he smiled and waved, with the floss draped across the fingers of his waving hand.

What do you know about the flex posts they installed on Sylvan Way between the driving lanes? Seems to be pushing uphill drivers further into the bike lane.

This past weekend I spent three days in a place where my cell phone could not connect to anything. If you are able, I highly recommend doing so.
