My family revitalizes abandoned homes, maintains them, and rents them fairly. I'm very proud of our work.

We also play games of all descriptions, especially on a table.

I like math and science most, but am interested in everything.

When I said I want the President to be more of a figurehead what I meant was I want Congress to be the primarily governing body and he handles the emergency stuff and international meetings. Not that he'd do whatever the Christofascists and Supernational CEOs whispering in his ear tell him.

The whole point of democracy is that people come together to do the hard things that are beneficial to all but can't be done alone.

Usually in spite of big business interest.

Which is why real democracies have universal healthcare, good public transit, and strong consumer & employee protections.

It's hard to think of a more corrupt and egregious abuse of the presidential pardon. This alone is worthy of impeachment. And then there's a thousand other things.
GOP operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, convicted election fraudsters, were paid $960,000 in the second quarter to secure a pardon for a former nursing-home operator who defrauded the government of $38 million. Trump pardoned the man, Joseph Schwartz, last month.
Inside the New Fast Track to a Presidential Pardon
Even some of the president’s closest advisers have been surprised by a number of the recent series of pardons.

it's crazy that 500 years ago, you would see the ruler of your country maybe once in your life and hear whispers that they're the Sun God, but now with social media, you get to see on a daily basis that they're the most unhinged, idiotic, and unhappy person you know

The only way you pull yourself up by your bootstraps is if they're wrapped around a rich man's neck.
Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

For every direct sale of the World Wide Wrestling PDF, I add a free community copy to itch. So far we've added 487 since starting this last year.

I'd love to get that to 500 by years end! Regular sales add +1 community copy, tips and bundles add +2.

YouTube has been able to aggressively and quickly incentivize an enormous ecosystem to show kids exactly what they want to see and I fear it's making them dangerously intellectually passive.
