Weird how at some point the ACA subsidies went from meaningless technocrat babble that it was obviously incredibly stupid for Democrats to try protecting to being incredibly important for helping people avoid suffering.

And Democrats managed to get it wrong both times!! What were the odds?

Moi aussi.

Photo shows a cyclist in Paris at night. They're between a parallel parked car and a car stopped at a light or something. Their bike has a red sign on it that says "Attention Je suis folle! Je m'arrete aux feux rouges!" (Attention I'm crazy! I stop at red lights!)
A bon entendeur.

Back in my day we had to make up the bullshit all on our own. No AI to lean on. Kids today.
Trying to make something look professional instead of actually doing the work is a skill, right?

This woman made herstory.
She’s the reason the ACA got passed.
She led us through Trump 1.0, the insurrection & COVID
She never lost a single vote she called up.
I didn’t always agree w her but this woman showed us what a gifted leader looks like.
TY Nancy for all of it.

Fact check: it will hurt Americans.
President Trump said a lapse in SNAP funding would “largely” hurt Democrats. But interruptions to the program will also affect a sizable number of people who live in Republican states and districts.

I don’t think we have any idea how bad it’s going to get.

Elon Musk started Trump 2 by giving Nazi salutes, but there was at least the thinnest veneer of plausible deniability because he didn’t immediately own it.

Nick Fuentes is a Nazi who owns it and he’s just becoming mainstream now.
Two years ago, Nick Fuentes was so toxic that, after I reported on a secret meet he had with a top Texas GOP donor, the party was engulfed in scandal and voted to explicitly ban Holocaust deniers/Neo Nazis.

Today, Heritage Foundation effectively said that "no enemies to our right" includes Fuentes.

That rainy headwind for my bike commute home last night was something else. It was like cycling uphill for 15 miles.
