We surveyed 63 ICUs across Australia & New Zealand and found:
✔️ 44% offer/ed animal-assisted services with dogs 🐕

🚫 Barriers: infection control, staffing, funding

I was skeptical about percutaneous mechanical aspiration for tricuspid valve endocarditis, but it apparently can work.
