Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

For all the blanket coverage it's getting today you wouldn't know that fishing contributes a grand total of 0.03% to the UK's economy, or that it is absolutely dwarfed by many other sectors, like the live music industry, which have been badly hit by Brexit but are rarely even mentioned

I still think represents the most shocking void in the UK’s COVID response - when the largest biomedical facility offered to undertake testing (many universities did the same) the government didn’t even answer. The cost would have been minimal. But no profit for private companies… is that it?
Astonishing evidence at the Covid Inquiry.

The Government repeatedly ignored offers from the Crick Institute to provide mass testing on a national scale.

Instead, the Government paid Deloitte consultants to project manage, not yet established, privately run labs.

We're not giving up on the protection of Loch Lomond from the damage threatened by Flamingoland.

Please add your support to our campaign.
But it's not over yet!

Now we need as many people as possible to write to the Scottish Government and tell them to change this decision.

Eggs and Chicken are similarly awful.

If you want USA food, as part of the World's finest food larder that Scotland now has, you're fucking bonkers.

Scottish Independence please!

Reports that Labour will demand a higher standard of English from migrants, comparable with A level standard and able to write about complex issues. I wonder if they think the 240,000 Brits in Dubai should learn Arabic and discuss complex issues with it?

Westminster chooses to set the price of electricity using the cost of the last unit of electricity needed to meet demand. This is usually from gas-powered plants, as they are usually the most expensive. Scotland's electricity could be so much cheaper.

You can't get a council house because no one is building them.

Your wages are terrible because the billionaires profits have to be record.

As above for the rents.

And house prices are sky high because of all the landlords.

None of it is to do with immigrants.

Reading the SM posts of RFK Jr’s mad anti-vax supporters is a statistician’s nightmare. They’re all wielding graphs showing the rise in vaccine use and the rise in autism as evidence that one causes the other. You could do a similar chart with the increase in ice cream flavours and autism.

Seriously this is not gender equality … this is wealthy women doing what all wealthy people do, spending obscene amounts of money on nothing that advances women, humanity or helps anyone at all.
A crew of six women, including pop star Katy Perry and Jeff Bezos's fiancé Lauren Sanchez, is set to blast off today on an 11-minute Blue Origin flight.

It marks the first all-female space mission in 60 years — hailed as a breakthrough for gender equality in space tourism.

We've been talking an awful lot about how the Trump tariffs will hit the big players: the UK, China, Canada, France, Germany etc
But it's time to talk about the ones who DON'T have loud voices. Because some of the poorest countries in the world are going to be crippled by what happened last night

Yup. It feels cruel to deny deluded Brexiters their tiny sliver of a ‘win’ but, on the other hand, fuck ‘em. Weakening a country *before* an attack like this is an act of obvious treachery. We would, by any measure, be better off *in* the the EU *with* the 20% basic tariff rate.
And the 25% on car parts from, inter alia, the UK is still in place, right? Or not?

Just yesterday, Britain wasted enough wind to power Scottish homes for 3 DAYS. It cost £7,504,366.
