Covid-19 and cancers connected to September 11 account for 75 percent of the deaths in ICE’s history.

No ICE agent has ever been killed by an immigrant.

How dangerous is it really to work for ICE?
According to ICE’s own data, none of its officers have been killed by an immigrant in the agency’s history.

At some point we are going to acknowledge that the things happening right now to the American people at large was already happening to a subset of American people from jump right? Like surely the next logical conclusion is that these practices are unjust when use on everyone? Right ?! Right ?!

I'm really proud of this article. Quyanakpuq @redped.bsky.social for including me on this project. In this discussion between 5 Indigenous academic women, we discuss the intersection between feminism and Indigenous studies, with lots of suggested readings that shaped our thinking in this area.

The tragic death of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year old mother fatally shot by ICE, shows that ICE can’t be reformed and must be abolished.

I’ll be introducing the Abolish ICE Act as a step toward justice, accountability, and humanity in our immigration policy.

Time to melt ICE.

I don't think we can see this as separate from their white nationalist fascist *pro-natalist* masculinist social project. These two white lesbian women had to be dominated and "put in their proper place."

I agree this this is hugely important. Another potentially important aspect is queerness. This woman is rejecting the *naturally superior* white man for a woman.
We don’t have much social science work on how White Americans judge other White ppl for aligning w/ racial minorities. But perceptions of racial betrayal may help explain hostility toward “coastal elites” & support for state violence against perceived allies. Would love to read if I’ve missed it.

Congress must address Kristi Noem's failed leadership, up to and including impeachment. But that alone is insufficient.

The entire chain of command who have enabled a culture of murder must face justice.

This is the scariest picture I've ever taken. It does not capture how incredibly pale he was (HIE due to massive silent bleet). I didn't know if i would get another picture of him alive. However, after he got blood and was cooled for 3 days, he was fine.

He's our wild monkey of a 7yo today.

Asshole gets stuck, embarrassed, shoots a woman?

The point of law enforcement isn't to force"respect" of the individual cops. It's in the name *law* enforcement, not asshole control enforcement.
Rep. Ben Cline: "Any time you have a loss of life it's a tragedy, but what we have here is law enforcement engaged in enforcing the law. What we need is for Americans to respect that."

There is simply not enough attention on the central motivation of the Trump regime, which is that he has a right to rule untethered from popular consent, and places where dissent is concentrated are unnatural and must be broken and subjugated
Trump is now directing ICE to focus on Democratic-led cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago and New York:

Where are the elected Democrats?

Articles of Impeachment. EVERY. DAY.

Rallies. EVERY. DAY.

Mourning. EVERY. DAY.

This government needs to discuss Cuba policy urgently because it could blow up very badly for everybody if Trump and Rubio successfully choke off all the Venezuelan oil. Rubio could be the dog that finally caught the car -- and he has no plan for what to do the day after. 1/
Cuba is the ultimate manifestation of the Pottery Barn Rule. If they destabilize the govt & can’t rebuild the economy quickly, then they will face a tsunami of migration that will make the MASSIVE 1980 Mariel Boatlift look like a picnic. Rubio’s dream is Miller’s greatest nightmare. This is no joke!

The number of Gestapo in Germany was 32,000. The population was 70 million. That's one Gestapo for every 2200 citizens.

The number of ICE agents is 20,000. The population of the US is 348 million. That's one ICE agent for every 17,000 citizens.

Since last year, Trump admin planned what to do if ICE agents were accused of crimes (even murder):
Protect them “no matter what."

Trump laid out ways to retaliate:
—Refuse to hand over an agent
—Charge local officials with “obstructing"
—Threaten to cut off more funding
