who creates the lively art and music scenes if the rent is too high? who makes cultural life? who serves you food or washes your dishes? who creates the fancy little restaurants that draw you to urban living? affordable housing is at the heart of what makes city life worthwhile.

I was today years old when I realised that it is perfectly normal to propose on mainstream media that some of the most vulnerable people in human society like the homeless persons should be killed... how very convenient.
Free speech, eh?!

Brian Kilmeade endorses euthanizing homeless people: "Involuntary lethal injection, or something. Just kill them."

So... she does not like immigrants but she herself is an immigrant?
Make this make sense...
Would she like to be treated with contempt and disrespect because she is an immigrant? I think not. But she is speaking with such contempt about others who are immigrants just like her.

British immigrant to Spain tells GB News the reason she moved to Benidorm is that there are too many immigrants in the UK
And her friend says the cost of living is lower and better inside the European Union than back in the UK which is outside the EU

I do not need AI that writes essays. I need AI to understand sections breaks and what it means when I say restart footnotes in each section in word.
Apparently that's too much to ask

Forthcoming fantasy (?) book for us who work in academia.
Two PhDers (both magicians) need to go to hell to rescue the soul of their dead supervisor so that he can write their recommendation letters. The PhDers want to become tenure track magicians, instead of just being magicians.

I don't understand rich people who spend their money on yachts and partying. If I had the time and the money I'd spend it on classes to learn to sing, draw, paint, weave, make pottery, carve wood, all the random skills I do not currently have. Become a true renaissance man. That's the real flex.

Men who fetishize having a "traditional woman" and obsess over women being modest, obedient, quiet, submissive and homemakers are walking red flags.
What they mean is they want a slave, a free SW, and someone to baby them. They want free labor.

The UK government has no idea how bad things have become and no idea to tackle them.

There’s a Hindi phrase (usually said by dads) for when someone leaves the lights on that translates to “Is it Diwali again?” A French version is “We’re not in Versailles!” But my favourite version, by far, is the Serbian “Was your grandpa Nikola Tesla?”
