I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.

the explosion of transphobia in the uk is directly related to the fact that they all think what they see on x is legitimate information. in reality it's paranoid conspiracies and medical disinformation that they have spent nearly a decade mainstreaming in their columns.
I'd say though that journos etc still using it as a general information source (as opposed to looking to see what Grok is doing) is part of the problem. I'm always looking to burst the Westminster bubble anyway but it is an ecosystem. And so it's not just the Gov being on it that is a problem.
I avoid X all together now but I think there's a reasonable distinction between passively using X as a source of information or for work (an unfortunate necessity) and actively posting on it (unforgivable, have a word with yourself)

I am so happy about this. I've voted LD for years and our local MPs are pretty normal/good. And Labour have never had a chance of getting in where I live.

I am so happy about this. I've voted LD for years and our local MPs are pretty normal/good. And Labour have never had a chance of getting in where I live.
