The Republican president is a pedophile who has doubled my healthcare costs and let scores of violent criminals out of jail. But a Democratic mayor-elect wants to make busses free in a city I don't live in. I have never felt more politically homeless.

This investigation is devastating. If the gross misconduct & incompetence at FEMA in the Texas flood had happened under Biden in a blue state, Democrats would have been outraged. But it’s Trump and Texas, so expect Republicans to say nothing.

I'm really out of things to say about the Richardson situation. It has been made very clear that he is unqualified to lead FEMA and that his presence at the agency is directly putting lives at risk.

NEW from me — I wrote about FEMA Acting Administrator David Richardson, who has been completely silent and out of view since deadly floods devastated Texas last week, and spoke to staffers about what it's like to respond to a disaster with no leader.

[Trump’s]intention [is] to phase out FEMA…and shift long-term recovery responsibilities to states or other parts of the federal government. That may appeal to those who want a smaller federal footprint, but the reality is that states are not ready to absorb this role.

Dems can’t even get on the same page on what to call the bill. Big beautiful Betrayal, big ugly bill, etc. this is why nothing sticks…can’t even go on offense with consistent messaging. While MAGAs clearly have a distro list of every podcaster and poster where they send coordinated daily messaging.
