This is not just a current political issue. Charging & punishing these particular perpetrators is vital to keeping the fight against the ongoing abuse & killing of women & children by men in the spotlight. "Me Too" was only a start.

…the tool quickly illuminated how many MAGA supporting accounts are not actually based in the U.S., including one user called “MAGA Nation X” with nearly 400,000 followers…based in a non-EU Eastern European country. The Times found similar accounts based in Russia, Nigeria, and India.
As Twitter's new geolocation tool started to reveal accounts’ information, the effect was like watching the Scooby Doo kids pull one disguise after another from the villain of the week.

Hilarious and alarming though it all was, it's just the latest indication of one of the site’s oldest problems.

Senate Minority Leader…Schumer issued his own statement decrying the news and equating Trump’s actions with those of a dictator.
