I got the 1/144 rarity one but now I'm trying to figure out if it's worth ~$30 to buy the 5/144 version separately
Well I got a special Rodimus even if it wasn't *the* special one I wanted. Better that than the Optimus.

All in all this was a real cool purchase. It was under $50 for 12 fun little builds that are also cars that look and feel great; and while the driver mechanic is beyond fiddly it's impressive that they implemented it throughout. Strong recommend.

A lot of games in that Direct that aren't necessarily exciting individually (because I already have them on Steam Deck) but are exciting as a whole as they show that the Switch 2 is an appropriately beefy console and not something that developers need to develop down for.

Something that's great is that in Fate Grand Order all the characters are resurrected superpowered historical figures (sort of, it's complicated) and Columbus is one of them and everyone fucking hates him. Just really hates him. Even the protagonist who is chill with everyone thinks he's a dick.

As with Pokemon my desire for these is going to be contingent on these being minifig-and-playset style and not just big clunky prop/character builds

I was going to hold off on MPG-17 until they inevitably made more interesting repaints but by all accounts he's genuinely fun and enjoyable in hand? Might have to splurge.

That's....surprising. There isn't really a convenient size class for the skeleton and four deluxes/three deluxes and a voyager so I have to assume this will be a bespoke box set...which would presumably include Nexus himself again
They do show off Nexus using Silverbolt's frame in altmode as well, too. He looks much better there.
And yeah it sounds like there was a lot of discussion re: how they were gonna do Nexus sizeclasswise behind the scenes. 2027 WILL see Nexus getting limbs though, they DO confirm this conclusively

I never watched Black Phone before because the poster just made it look like a generic slasher but I just checked it out and it was actually really good. Working my way through the sequel now.

All I'll say is Hasbro knew what they were doing holding this figure for last when they knew there was a Voyager price hike, they knew that this would be a disappointment, and they knew that the completionist portion of the fandom were already mostly in on the Thirteen.
