For my new followers here is my drug reform origin story 👉🏻 bit.ly/48T3s6J and why I work hard everyday to change policy, law and culture in policing to save the lives of people who use drugs & uphold our civil liberties #nomoredrugwar #harmreductionsaveslives

In a fleeting moment I almost said this was similar to the ending of kids knowing how to drive a stick shift. Then I thought that is the worst analogy ever because because people still needed to know how to drive. This generation is not getting smarter, they are getting lazier b/c of tech

And that, my friends, is what we would call "an illegal order."

This is called “chain refoulment” and it’s illegal under both U.S. and international law. And the State Department and ICE know very well what Ghana is doing and simply don’t care.
ICE deported a woman who owned a home in the US for 30 years. A judge banned ICE from deporting her to Sierra Leone where she had been tortured, so it deported her to Ghana, which kidnapped her and sent her back Sierra Leone anyway. ICE is part of this illegal conspiracy.

A federal judge didn’t “steal” the Commander-in-Chief’s powers—she ruled that DoD exceeded the limits Congress set. That is the rule of law working as designed. What threatens the Republic isn’t judicial review, but officials who insist they’re above it.

So I wrote about how her comments highlight the ways both purity culture and rape culture sexualize young girls and make male desire their responsibility.

The Barely Legal Type: Purity Culture, Rape Culture, and America’s Lose-Lose Proposition for Girls
The very parts of American culture that claim to promote teen abstinence and sexual purity operate on a parallel logic to the rape culture that enables the darkest misogynistic violence against women.

This is true and it's also disheartening for anyone who was yelling about what this would entail before the election.
Also most voters have just never thought remotely seriously about policy. “Should we get rid of illegal immigrants? Well, of course; they’re illegal!” There’s nothing deeper than that going on until they start seeing what that actually entails.
Some Dems and pundits overread the significance of Trump's win. They looked at dissatisfaction with the border and discerned a seismic cultural reaction to immigration levels inside the country. The former was real. The latter is a mirage.
