I know people on here can’t get over how poorly written the emails from powerful, successful people are, and yeah, they are, but I think all of us have worked in companies where it’s clear the people at the top didn’t get there because they were smart, or well read. Will to Power is its own “skill.”

This is why it’s so hard to be a democratic voter. A gaggle of 70 year old men are just going go do whatever they want anyway.
The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

I don’t think anyone cares about the NYC Marathon as much as ABC 7 in NYC. I have lived in this city for years and I still don’t understand the obsession with the race.
