I was lucky to find Liberty Tabletop flatware, from Sherrill Manufacturing, Sherrill NY. I bought a few sets to fill in current items, and pieces are impressive. Had it in 2 days. Support US business, right? Last flatware manufactured in the US.

Lucky us! We stumbled onto the goldmine that is aka Southtowns YMCA! Started membership this week. What a spectacular swimming pool and locker facility.

Just mentioning that a trip to the planetarium at Bufffalo State is worth the visit! Easy to get to, great staff, nice facility, (a college I attended, so maybe I am biased.)

The hometown Bills appeared shaky on defense in Sunday's loss to the Pats. But in this Depew Duff's, they're less worried about linebacker Matt Milano's ability to defend the center of the field than they are about Substacker Matt Yglesias's ability to defend the left-center of American politics.

Covid booster yesterday, late afternoon. No impact until noon today. I was surprised at the intensity given the delay, but it was all very manageable for the few hours‘ impact, and I feel fine now. I am so grateful NewYork State ensured easy access to the vaccine, and Wegmans pharmacy was perfect.

At a time of increased political violence, I am beyond disturbed by the bigoted language some of my Republican colleagues have leveled against those in our Muslim community.

It's vile, it's hateful, it's racist. It has no place in our nation, let alone in the halls of Congress.

Once again, Van Hollen for the win.
We should all be disgusted by the flood of anti-Muslim remarks spewed in the aftermath of Zohran Mamdani’s victory in the NYC mayoral primary — some blatant, others latent.

Shame on the members of Congress who have engaged in such bigotry and anyone who doesn’t challenge it.
Attacks on Muslims flood mainstream after Mamdani win
Openly racist rhetoric has become normalized at the highest levels of American politics.
