Remember, there are still good people in the world. We all have the power to make a corner of our planet or community a better place.
Andrew Otazo has plucked, bagged, heaved and hauled more than 17 tons of trash from the mangroves in Florida.

Every piece of garbage he removes reclaims space for what should be there: bird nesting grounds and fish nurseries. https://wapo.st/4oS36Vx

Indian speculative fiction evolved through Bengali "kalpavigyan" and post-Independence "scientifiction." Today, as this piece shows, Indian SF is finding its voice anew—bridging caste, gender, and global imagination with universal storytelling.

She's absolutely right. As a producer with several films in development with female directors, I can say it is an absolute uphill battle to get execs to fund their projects. Great scripts are sitting on shelves while a generation of our most talented women sit idle.

If alcohol, tobacco and drugs aren’t allowed within 1,000 feet of schools—tear gas shouldn’t be either.

We send our kids to school to learn, not receive front row seats to Trump’s extreme enforcement tactics.

I’m demanding Trump’s Education Secretary Linda McMahon do something to stop this.
Senators demand Linda McMahon ask DHS to stop immigration enforcement near schools
The letter says that “if society can agree that alcohol, tobacco and drugs should be kept at least 1,000 feet away from our schools,” then “violent DHS tools and tactics also belong on that list.”
