We are in hell. The VA is cancelling parental leave that has already been approved, some parents already on leave.

#Vets will need #VA care, at VA facilities more than ever. Yet, this bill takes hard hits at Federal employees, and recruiting and maintaining staff will suffer. Patient care will suffer, even for people who aren’t on Medicaid…this includes Vets.

A sitting state Representative and her husband have been killed. A state Senator is fighting for his life. A targeted political attack in our country.

This is not just a tragedy. It is a terrifying marker of where we are. When hatred is legitimized & violence is tolerated, democracy begins to die.

This recognition is a powerful reminder that the full story of American heroism must be told in all its diversity.
