I'm thinking today of all my fellow veterans but especially the more than 5,000 trans service members and their families who were kicked out of the military this year despite being highly qualified and serving honorably. This injustice will be a stain on our nation's history.

Would've been awesome to have just objected to speed-running any one of the THREE CLOTURE VOTES that the Senate took inside of 24 hours to rush this bill out of their hands.

In other words, the Court is trying to buy itself two more days to see if the House approves the shutdown deal (which may well moot this case), rather than having to rule *now* on whether USDA can be forced to fully fund SNAP for November. And KBJ objects because she’d just deny the application now.

I always forget this, because I have a hard time believing that a grown man willing to operate a firearm would be so stupid as to shoot himself in the face. Like, how did he make it to adulthood?
I used to assume that Rhodes wore an eyepatch because he lost his eye in battle or something, but it turns out that he just accidentally shot himself in the face.
