Playing expedition 33 with my kid and he keeps saying how this game is such an interesting twist on “Pokemon combat”. Somehow he’s never played any other turn based rpg. Maybe he’s not alone?

More than *anything* the people who actually know how technology works, who actually build things, wish that people would treat LLMs like every other technology, and be normal about them. Don't build a religion about them, don't force them on people, don't ignore the problems. Just be normal.

The DS lite might be one of the biggest glow ups of all time resulting in arguably still one of the best portables ever
20 years ago, @edgemagazine.bsky.social marvelled at the wide range of new handhelds hitting the market. Like many of us, they didn't fancy the DS' chances of matching the Game Boy's success, though (spoiler: it is now the best selling handheld console of all time)

Never played any earthbound / mother game before. Picked up a hacked gba cartridge with the English fan translation off of Etsy to check out. I still prefer playing on original hardware
