The virus persists in the air for HOURS because #CovidIsAirborne

Only take your mask off outdoors, and preferably use an N95 mask.

That tracks. We’re dependent on a smart president, so the country’s falling to pieces without one.
Ingraham: Doesn't that show us that we’re too dependent on China?

In response to this claim that the "strategy didn't work."

The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.

And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.

Absolutely.

The far right took over the GOP through the long process of taking over local and county organizations and the left can do the same. It’s not an instant fix but it actually works.
Join your county Democratic Party! There are shockingly few people willing to show up and those are the people who get to make decisions

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

Did you know that in Canada, if a budget doesn’t pass the government doesn’t shut down?

Federal workers aren’t furloughed.

Funding for social services doesn’t dry up.

Failure to pass a budget triggers an election.

It puts the politicians jobs on the line.

They get the budget passed.

The NYT interviewed 40 men who were in CECOT.

They described being beaten, sexually assaulted by guards, driven to the brink of suicide. One said officers thrust his head into a tank of water to simulate drowning. Another was forced to perform oral sex on guards in hoods.

Trump did this.

Thank you to Senator Ron Wyden for letting us know the MAGA Senate Republicans are trying to slide a nationwide abortion ban into the shutdown negotiations.

Hell no! They want to control every part of women’s lives and we aren’t having it.

F the patriarchy.

This is a pattern of politicization across the Trump administration, but the threats are more existential in the military, which has tried to stay above politics. The country does not need Generals promoted because they will do anything Trump or Hegseth asks of them.

This is what oligarchy looks like:

If you're Elon Musk, the richest man alive, Tesla gives you a $1 trillion pay package & Trump gives you a huge tax break.

If you're a poor kid on SNAP, Trump appeals a court decision that would have prevented you from going hungry.

Obscene.
